You can use it in many forms as well. A couple are essential oils, the dried herb, and even you can use the fresh plant in your healing plan. Below I will give you a few ways to use lavender to benefit you.
3 Uses for Lavender:
- Stress Relief– You can put about 3 drops in your hand of Lavender essential oils, rub your hands together, cup your hands, and inhale through your nose. You can do this anytime you are having a stress moment and this will help you feel calmer.
- Inflammation relief – You can soak in a bath of Epsom salts and Lavender essential oil. You can put 1 cup of Epsom salts and 20 drops of essential oils into a warm bath. Soak for at least 15 minutes or more.
- Sleep problems – You can make a room/pillow spray. Get a spray bottle. I use a 4 oz glass amber spray bottle, 1/2 cup distilled water, 1 teaspoon witch hazel 8 drops of lavender essential oil. Then just spray this on your pillows and around the room before bed. You will sleep like a baby.
These are just a few great ways to use lavender. There are many more. You can make teas from the herb and bath salts. Play and experiment with what might work for you. Have fun with it.
